Celebrando Luminarias de Oncología

En los 50 años desde que se inició ASCO, el tratamiento del cáncer ha avanzado dramáticamente gracias al trabajo de investigadores, a médicos responsables de entregar dichos avances a los pacientes e incontables otros que contribuyeron al mejoramiento del cuidado del cáncer.

Destacadas Luminarias de la Oncología han sido identificadas por varios líderes voluntarios de la American Society of Clinical Oncology. La lista de luminarias no es exhaustiva, y los líderes de ASCO reconocen que hay muchas más personas a través de la historia que han dado forma al campo de la oncología y el progreso  contra el cáncer.  Deseamos que todos puedan unirse con nosotros para celebrar los logros de todos estos individuos excepcionales, y los miles de otros que continúan trabajando cada día para avanzar en el campo.

Celebrating Oncology Luminaries

In the 50 years since ASCO was first started, the treatment of cancer has advanced dramatically thanks to the work of researchers behind important breakthroughs, physicians responsible for delivering those advances to patients, and countless others who contributed to the improvement of cancer care.

Featured Oncology Luminaries were identified by several volunteer leaders of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. The list of luminaries is not exhaustive, and the leaders of ASCO recognize that there are many more people throughout history who have shaped the field of oncology and advanced progress against cancer.  We hope that everyone can join with us in celebrating the accomplishments of all of these exceptional individuals, and the thousands of others who continue to work each day to advance the field.

4° Simposio conjunto Manejo del Cáncer de Mama - Pasado, presente y Futuro
Agosto 13-14, 2015 – Medellín, Colombia

El Instituto de Cancerología Las Américas y el MD Anderson Cancer Center lo invitan a participar del 4° Simposio conjunto Manejo del Cáncer de Mama - Pasado, presente y Futuro.

El simposio contará con reconocidos conferencistas del MD Anderson Cancer Center, líderes mundiales con más de 1.400 publicaciones científicas sobre el tema, quienes desarrollarán bloques temáticos de Cáncer de Mama Triple Negativo, Cáncer de Mama Her2 Positivo, Neoadyuvancia y Manejo de Unidades de Sobrevivientes y Alto Riesgo.

Este curso de dos (2) días, será un espacio para intercambiar ideas, experiencias entre colegas y estimular la posibilidad de desarrollar proyectos colaborativos de investigación entre las diferentes unidades de Latino-América. 

Habrá un evento especial (Workshop) para patólogos dedicados a mama el día viernes en la tarde para estandarizar procesos de  interpretación de patología  y manejo de muestras para  estudios de investigación. Por eso se extiende también la invitación a los patólogos.

4th Joint Symposium Handling Breast Cancer - Past, present and Future
August 13-14, 2015 – Medellín, Colombia

The Instituto de Cancerología Las Américas and MD Anderson Cancer Center invite you to participate of the 4th Joint Symposium Handling Breast Cancer – Past, present and future.

The Symposium will have renowned speakers from MD Anderson Cancer Center, world leaders with more than 1.400 scientific publications on the subject, who will develop thematic sections of Triple Negative Breast Cancer, Her2 Positive Breast Cancer, Neoadjuvancy and Handling of Units of Survivors and High Risk.

This course of two (2) days, will be a space to exchange ideas, experiences among colleagues and stimulate the possibility of developing collaborative investigation projects between the different Latinamerican units. 

There will be a special event (Workshop) for pathologists dedicated to Breast on Friday afternoon to standardize interpretation processes of pathology and handling of samples for investigation studies.  Therefore, the invitation is also extended to pathologists.

6th Interamerican Oncology Conference

19° SIS Congreso Mundial en Salud Mamaria

El SIS (Senologic International Society) y la PTBnRP (Polish Society for Breast Cancer Research) los invita a Uds. al 19° SIS Congreso Mundial en Salud Mamaria en paralelo con la Conferencia Nacional Polaca en Diagnóstico y Tratamiento de Cáncer de Mama FALENTY.
